4-17-18 Pens power play clicking without Kessel

posted by Savran on Sports -

The Penguins power play is clicking at it's league leading rate. And yet, they are doing it in part without one of their biggest weapons contributing as much as he normally does. What happens when/if Phil Kessel starts scoring.

The Pens will certainly take command of the series with a win tomorrow night, but we might not even have to wait until the end of the game. I'll talk about that with Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette will make his weekly visit at 12:20.

And joining us at 1 pm for a bit of a national perspective on the Pens/Flyers and the rest of the Stanley Cup playoffs will be Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period!

Cold night for the Pirates and anyone who braved the elements at PNC Park. Liz Bloom, baseball writer for the Post-Gazette, talks Bucs and the loss of Josh Harrison at 1:20.

Speaking of Harrisons...more thoughts on James retiring. And we talk about big money in baseball's free agency.

How much money will Bryce Harper get when he goes up for bidding after this season?
