A Flower was planted in Pittsburgh, and now grows in Las Vegas. Do some of you REALLY believe the Penguins protected the wrong goaltender? What was your favorite Marc-Andre Fleury moment? I've got mine, and we'll compare note about the special night tonight with Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette at 12:20.
Lost in all the Flower-mania is the fact the Pens will have to play without one of their most key players for a while.
No definitive word on why Malcolm Butler didn't play from scrimmage on Sunday. There are rumors and some reporting about it, however, which might contradict Bill Belichick saying it wasn't disciplinary. If it was disciplinary, that tells you that it happens everywhere. The media and fans are ripping the Patriots head coach for not playing him. Here, fans rip Mike Tomlin for NOT disciplining enough, although on 3 occasions he has suspended players...and on at least 3 occasions he and the organization have dismissed players. Would you really support a decision to not play a player who could help you win a Super Bowl? Or would you react like the New England fans are now?
