Penguins Host Promotional Theme Nights for the Next Two Home Games

A pair of theme nights are on the schedule for Pittsburgh’s next two home games. On Thursday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m., fans are invited to wear their best '90s-inspired attire when the Penguins hold “’90s Night” presented by 105.9 The X against the Calgary Flames.

The night will feature live performances of cover songs from the ‘90s by The Clintones pre-game and during both intermissions.

The Highmark Wall of Champions Hallway (located on the FedEx Level between Sections 110 and 115) will have a plethora of vintage arcade and pinball games from the ‘90s featuring Mortal Kombat III, Cruis’n USA, Street Fighter II, Hangtime, Lethal Enforcers, Virtua Fighter 2, White Water and Funhouse. There will also be a green screen photo opportunity featuring scenes from “Double Dare”, “Jurassic Park” and the Penguins’ 1992 Stanley Cup Banner Raising Ceremony.

The Penguins will include numerous video and musical elements from the 1990s in the in-game presentation. Discounted tickets to ‘90s Night, Courtesy of 105.9 The X, can be purchased here.

Following Thursday’s game, a Halloween costume contest and other fun Halloween-themed activities will highlight the Penguins' Halloween Night on Saturday, October 30, when the Pens take on the New Jersey Devils at PPG Paints Arena. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Fans sporting their best Halloween costumes will have the chance to go home with prizes including gift cards and autographed pucks. One winner will be selected each period.

PensGear will be selling a variety of Halloween-themed souvenirs including special hats and t-shirts while supplies last.

As an added feature, the Penguins have created jack-o'-lantern stencils for fans to access online here.

Tickets are also available for the October 30 game and can be purchased here. Fans are reminded that Halloween costumes must be family-friendly, and masks that are part of a costume must be removed when entering the building. No sharp objects or weapons (including fake or toy weapons) will be allowed.

Future theme nights include "Star Wars Night" on December 14 versus Montreal; "’80s Night” presented by 102.5 WDVE on December 21 versus New Jersey; "’70s Night” presented by 94.5 3WS on January 20 versus Ottawa and "Pittsburgh Night" presented by PPG on April 12 versus Columbus.
