The first time the Steelers and Browns locked horns, the home team won. Unfortunately that game was played in Cleveland.
Playing in Pittsburgh is going to make all the difference on Sunday. The Steelers are 4-2 at Heinz field and giving up just 17.8 points per game on defense in the friendly confines. They give up 21 points per game away from Pittsburgh.
It goes deeper than that, though. The Steelers defense is sacking the quarterback five times per home game and just 1.6 times per game on the road. That's obviously a huge difference.
There's also this: While the Browns have been "hot," they've won each of the last three games IN Cleveland. Baker Mayfield is not the same player outside of Ohio. He's thrown just four touchdowns in five games on the road with a quarterback rating of 78.5 while the Browns are 2-3. Mayfield has also been sacked an average of three times per game on the road. 15 times in five games.
