JuJu wasn't good enough in crunch time

I'm the number one member of the JuJu Smith-Schuster fan club. I love everything about the dude.

He gives back to the community. He's got a gregarious personality. He seems to get it.

Unfortunately, he's developing a penchant for giving the football away as if he were at a charity auction.

Last year, the Steelers could (would?) have beat the Saints had JuJu not fumbled on the final drive of the game. Yesterday, the Steelers could (would?) have defeated the Ravens had he just held on to the football.

I don't buy for one second that JuJu's late game failure had anything to do with him going out to a party at IUP on Thursday. I think the notion is ludicrous. The optics are bad, though.

I'm not upset with him for "living his best life." I am upset that he's been one of the reasons that the team has lost a pivotal game in each of the last two years.

The Steelers defense forced three turnovers and sacked LaMar Jackson five times. They deserved better. So did Duck Dynasty. As much as it pains me to say it: JuJu let them down.
