I hate the Patriots, but damnit if I don't respect them

"The Patriots are cheaters!" "The Patriots play in the worst division in football!" "The Patriots get all the calls!" Just shut up.

The Patriots, with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady at the helm, are the greatest dynasty in the history of football.

I hate it, but I can't deny their greatness.

Tom Brady, when healthy, has made a conference title game in 13 out of 17 years. Tom Brady, when healthy, has gone to the Super Bowl in 9 out of 17 years. He's the greatest winner in professional sports history.

Sure, Michael Jordan never lost in the championship, but he also didn't qualify as much as Brady has.

The Patriots have defeated hall of fame players like Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Kurt Warner, and Phillip Rivers en route to Super Bowls. They beat the "Legion of Boom." This year, they beat the next great thing, Patrick Mahomes.

In 2001, they beat the "Greatest Show on Turf." In 2004, they beat the 15-1 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pats have been challenged, and more times than not, they've overcome that challenge.

To top it all off, the franchise has done it with a rotating cast of characters. Only Brady and Belichick remain from that 2001 team. The Patriots have done all of this in the salary cap era.

New England has the greatest dynasty in the history of football. Anybody who says otherwise is in denial.
