WHAT: FREE Veterans Appreciation Night at Pittsburgh Glass Center
WHO: Everyone is invited - especially veterans, active military and their families.
WHEN: Friday, July 6, 6-9pm
WHERE: Pittsburgh Glass Center, 5472 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (East End, Friendship/Garfield)
WHY: Pittsburgh Glass Center offers scholarships for veterans to work in a challenging medium that will stretch them artistically and personally as they learn the fundamental principles of glass art and the creative process.
HOW: Veterans Appreciation Night is a free open house featuring heat-defying acts of art including live glassblowing demonstrations with a Fourth of July theme and refreshments. All veterans and active service military in attendance will receive a gift certificate for a FREE two-hour glass workshop at PGC!
