4.18.17 Penguins on the verge of sweeping Jackets

Steady as she goes.  It's easy to forget, but we should remember that the Penguins have gained this 3-0 edge withoiut Kris Letang, Chris Kunitz and Carl Hagelin, 3 very important components in winning the Cup last year. There's still a very long way to go, but does this tell us this year's team is laser focused and more than capable of winning another? Former Penguin and current broadcaster Bob Errey will join me from Columbus at 12:30.

Can it be that Toronto could actually upset Washington, and become the Penguins 2nd round opponent instead of the Caps? And, by the way, the NHL's ridiculous playoff format is blowing up in their faces.

Pirates bats go limp in St. Louis. And it looks like Jung Ho Kang won't be back for nearly 2 more months, if at all.

Plus baseball's attempts to speed up games is failing.  And something a bit different today.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off one of the great playoff comebacks in sports history last year. ESPN NBA reporter Brian Windhorst wrote a book about it, and he'll be joining me at 1:30.
