ESPN's Jemele Hill thinks Colin Kaepernick has played his last game in the NFL.
Think we've seen the last of Kaep as an NFL player. There was a limited market before but after Trump's comments, it's a wrap. https://t.co/Jr2HioMSCy— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) March 22, 2017
No, he won't. In the NFL you can re-package an abuser, a drunk driver and a multitude of sins. But an "anti-American?" Nope. https://t.co/yZlsQN9DZx— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) March 22, 2017
I hope I'm wrong. But NFL owners are conservatives. Unless the dissident is Aaron Rodgers, they'd rather pick any QB but him. https://t.co/ZB3uOWHuW6— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) March 22, 2017
I don't think Hill is all that far out on her opinion here, she is correct, the NFL is a very conservative culture and these owners are very anti freedom of expression. However if there is one thing these owners love more than "conservatism" is money and if Kaepernick can help a team with an injured QB, he will get hired at some point.
