We thought the Burger King was gone for good after his commercials stopped airing. Now he has become the modern day "Where's Waldo" on our televisions.
Back on May 2, he was a part of Floyd Mayweather's entourage, and this past Saturday, he appeared at the Belmont Stakes to watch the race with American Pharoah's trainer, Bob Baffert, and his family.
We know that Burger King had to shell out a million dollars to have their mascot walk with Mayweather's crew. But how much money did it cost for the appearance on television in Baffert's box during the Belmont Stakes?
Darren Rovell had the estimate:
Belmont ad value from logos & mentions on NBC per @apexMGAnalytics: Monster $2.27M, Draft Kings $1.3M, Burger King Appearance $136K— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) June 6, 2015
Well, at least it was cheaper for them to get exposure at the Belmont than at the mediocre Mayweather-Pacquiao fight last month.
